MahVay ( “Sacred Arrows”) was born from a desire to clothe women in the inspiration and beauty of Mother Earth.

Shearlings, lambsuede, specialty leathers, velvets, silks, lace and denim form the foundation for much of our work. To this "canvas" beadwork, semi-precious stones, hand-cut fringe, embroidery and one-of-a-kind hand-painted design is often added.

MahVay Design celebrates the eclectic heritage of "cowgirl meets Indian" and "West meets East" that is the treasure of America's diversity.

"Greener Pastures"; an upcycled couture line of clothing and accessories was started this Spring in colloboration with a local nonprofit (www.dbsamendocino.org) Through their Gallery 101, I am teaching an ongoing class on creative cottage industry offered free to the community through a local grant. Unique artistic garments made from recycled denim, t's, sweaters and special finds began to emerge from our sharing and caring for the resources of the Earth and each other. We are hoping to show our new "greener pastures" clothing line in shows this year. Check back!
